OK. Let's talk about premiums going down. I don't think premiums will go down. This bill didn't go far enough to cut costs, as you well know. I don't dispute that.

However, it does bend the cost curve. What that means is that premiums will not increase as much as they would have if nothing had been done.

So is it progress? Yes, if they stick to the cost control provisions outlined. Is it enough progress? Not by a long shot. We need more targeted amendments to bring costs even more under control.
