ARRS and HITS of Comcast media center in Denver announced three customers selecting VOD in a box service(jointly owned by ARRS and HITS). Two cable MSO's and one telco are the customers. Verizon is supplied by direcTV by satellite service. Verizon maybe a customer for GE/Universal movie library thru VOD in a box? ARRS has now media to supply their headends, and multiroom set-top box for consumers thru MSO's and telcos, which made them a one stop supplier of triple play service. Make cost reduction to run cable plant or small triple play telcos a cinch.
