Personally, I don't see a problem with having 6 billion people. I quite like having a million people to throw at any problem.

Humans can pretty well do anything that complies with the laws of physics now and by crikey there is a lot that needs doing.

For example I still don't have a 3D mobile cyberspace device with all mod cons. Nor do we have much in the way of genetic engineering. People still have cystic fibrosis for goodness sakes.

We could do with some genetic selection and stock improvement but the eugenics movement is booming so there is very rapidly reduction in bung genes. Women are rejecting blokes by the billion and choosing better genes for the next generation.

It's fashionable these days to decry eugenics, but I'm glad of it and it has certainly got things to a pretty good standard compared with our chimpoid days. Imagine running around the forest chasing monkeys to eat. I prefer to swing by St Pierre's sushi shop. zenbu.co.nz
