Thanks Ernie. I give Diamond Multimedia a lot of slack for
problems they had with Windows 95. All Microsoft has to do
is change one bit (not a byte, a bit) off their specification,
and boom, vendors all over the world can miss a very big boat.

As a software engineer, I have a first hand knowledge that
coding to someone else's specifications is often painful,
if not suicidal. I strongly suspect that DIMD couldn't completely
meet its Windows 95 technical specifications because Microsoft
couldn't meet its Windows 95 technical specifications.

By Christmas, NEC PC sales with Diamond's new board, as well as
Diamond Supra 33.6 speed modems sales, should help cash inflow
tremendously. Further good news comes from the fact that Diamond's
video drivers are packed directly onto Microsoft Windows NT 4.0's
CD ROM.

Remind me to tell you the story of the technical situation
at my husband's employment (a local bank) --- but for now
I have gone on too long.

Best of luck to you,
and keep the Diamond news flowing!

Regards,

Caroline
