hummmmmm. I've just been sitting back and listening to others since you were all so patient with me on Sunday, with my much much speaking, but there is a small reality here which is about as big as the moon, now that I think about it. Those who have died so far in history for the reasons we speak, were those who knew the Word (the first generation church) and those who spread the Word (under the Romans). The NEXT wave were those under our friends wearing the fish mitre hat who REDISCOVERED the word (from ll00 on, discovering the Word, this time on paper, not as the fables of the over-structure)
The last statement on the subject in Rev, I believe and don't have time to get it, is those who died for the "testimony" of Jesus Christ.
Like Jesus said, "Hey, big deal--even the devil "believes" in me (as God), and trembles." (the gospel according to Grace)
Ah, but those who know the Word, as in the Holy Spirit, that's a different matter. INteresting. Interesting question, Ron, no matter how we all may disagree to one extent or another. Probably one people better get settled in their minds pretty soon. |
