I do like some of the rants, because someone has to bring up the questions that arise with such a thing. Our media doesn't do its job. I wonder about several things: why Obama didn't open the drilling to anything in the Pacific Coast? And why 125 miles out? How many miles down is it to the ocean floor 125 miles out? Plus it would seem that the only oil firms that could even contemplate drilling in the North Artic region would have to be supremely wealthy companies. How much more would it cost for that oil, even if it somehow ever comes to market? And on a serious note, Please do write IBD (now Investors.com) and have them correct the article. They are pretty good as a rule, and CERTAINLY much better than the AlphabetSoups are...They would most probably appreciate having you do that. If you do, and if they respond, please let us know. Seriously. Thanks!
