Oil isn't used to make electricity

Dang right it isn't. (Short term)

And there's the interesting thing. During the last oil scare Solars soared IRRATIONALLY and everyone jumped into the market. When oil prices declined the shake outs started.

It's totally irrational but there is money to be made off irrational investors. Unless they've learned their lesson which might be true. I didn't invest because I saw a shake out coming, but I'm thinking about making a speculative short term bet due to oil prices.

I also have long term candidates.

Long term does anyone here think that cars are not going to transition to electricity? I'd certainly be interested to hear from those who don't.

Maybe oil driven vehicles will be only for the rich at some point. While the rest of us will have to live with limited mileage.
