Yeah, that's the problem with polls. The fact is most Americans are all over the map in their beliefs. Many of my beliefs, in fact most, line up with the GOP. But one single issue, renewable energy, is so high up on my list that I can't vote for the GOP because of that one issue, since they do everything in their power to continue our oil addiction. Then of course, I believe the current GOP looks a lot like the Tea Party and Palin, which makes them way to crazy for me to vote for.

The GOP is dead.

This past election I voted for a R who was running for AG. He had already served one term as AG and had done a good job. He ran a campaign that made clear that he was not partison like other Rs and could work across the aisle. Since the Rs up here tend to be more mellow, it was not a surprise he got re elected. Flash forward 4 months......the FLA AG sues the feds over health care reform. Most every responsible attorney says its a frivolous lawsuit and a waste of taxpayers' money. Does WA state's AG ignore the lawsuit? Nope, he signs on asap. Does he consult the governor, a Dem? Nope. And guess what.....the governor was the AG right before him....she knows the law well. Do you think I will ever vote for another R in my lifetime? Nope. They are not to be trusted. They have no ethics.
