True but he was more the exception rather than the rule. Remember al Qaida was doing car bombs and killing 30-40 at least once every week....if not more.

So there are violent Americans that are every bit as bad as Al Qaeda. We need to be careful here, so that words spouted by our leaders don't incite the crazies to violence.

Oh, I don't disagree with you at all. American extremists have been activated by R pundits and politicians like never before. You have Rs like Bachmann and DeMint who are borderline nuts and are Rs like Palin who are are not very bright or informed......who do everything they can to agitate. Its hard to believe these people consider themselves responsible adults.

BTW, I saw that Sean Hannity was praising the Tea Party members as Timothy McVeigh wannabees. Do the GOP members have no shame? Why is it that a terrorist like McVeigh is considered a Hannity and Tea Party hero?

What a screwed up party the GOP has become.

The GOP is desperate. They are having a hard time counteracting Obama's popularity.....and they are unwilling to do the work to modify and rebuild the party. They are counting on winning very big this fall. Something tells me they will be disappointed.
