I am clicking my way through the good collection of links that TheSlowLane has put together for the board he set up dealing with Oro Gold OGR.V. Highly recommended. Even the 2008 video helps put the company in perspective, and puts Haywood Securities into the picture, with the Haywood exec talking about the exploration team's credits at Placer Dome. That helps establish credibility in my mind going forward.

I am already in the stock. I have been wondering out loud why it has not already been picked up by one of the newsletter boyz.

I found a partial answer in the Oro Gold website Investor Q and A. In short, this could be in the works right now.
This fits in with what other contributors on the board have been saying...that analysts have made site visits, etc.

7. Q: As we get into Spring, what are you doing to maintain your exposure
to the capital markets?
A: By providing regular updates to our shareholders, and having meetings and giving presentations
to brokers, analysts, fund managers, and private accredited investors. We are currently gearing
up to substantially increase our promotional activity during the 1st quarter in 2010 as we strive
to continue showing positive results to the market.

9. Q: When will you start receiving analyst coverage?
A: Although no formal coverage have been received to date, management had very
positive discussions with some of the analysts during PDAC '10 and as a result, will start to keep
us on their radar screens.
