KT,

With all due respect, pointing out that sexual abuse and cover ups have been widespread in the public sector and other religions is not a defense of the actions of priests, bishops etc.... Only liberals defend the actions of people that engage in deviant sexual behavior.

It's demonstration that this behavior is not unique to Catholic clergy. That is significant because they are pointing out the double standard in the reporting and the political motivation of the attackers of the church in the media.

I don't know a single Catholic that isn't disgusted by what happened (even agnostics like me). But along the way many have become repulsed by the double standard, lies, spin etc... in the reporting. People know it is based on the political agenda of the left. So a switch goes off that makes one defensive of the institution and hostile to the attackers, while being furious with the individuals in the church that engaged in immoral activity.

Of course few liberals have the intellectual honestly to admit much of the reporting is based on a political agenda. And that pretty much sums up why I think most libs are despicable human beings.
