A few minutes ago, one of my buddies took his son down below the pool at the tree line and asked if he could shoot the pellet gun down in the hollow below. I said sure... then after shooting at cans for 20 minutes, I took a 20 gauge and walked down there where they were. The kid had never shot a shotgun. We talked about it. He was worried about the noise, the kick, would it hurt, etc. everything a small boy would ask... We set up a can 50 feet away... he shot the first time, scared, didn't hit it but realized it wasnt going to hurt. We told him how to stand, how to hold it, etc. As the crowd above stood looking, he aimed the second time and shot. This time he hit the can. The crowd cheered. The young boy estactic. His first shotgun. His first target hit. The Dad told me thanks. The young boy was smiling from ear to ear. A moment he will never forget, at the RR homestead.
I wonder if the government will take away that right some day?
