Gold: powerful forces restraining upside breakthrough. This may persist a while longer but ultimately fail. IMHO the Fed must choose between monetizing or Congress must raise taxes and curtail spending (politically unlikely). I'm using this hiatus to accumulate some gold positions, albeit with stops to avoid major drawdowns, a policy that has served me well over time.
