TOM ENGIBOUS SPEECH

I attended a TI function yesterday where Tom Engibous spoke about TI's future. He reaffirmed everything Vladi Catto said in the Smith Barney conference call.

TI's manufacturing cost have decreased significantly. Tom mentioned that TI is not in the bottom of the pack anymore, more like above the middle of the pack.

Engibous is not concerned with the short term stock market turmoil in Hong Kong. He also mentioned how the TI INDIA design center has grown, and INDIA's growing middle class.

Europe, Asia, Latin America economies are growing. 1998 is going to be an even bigger for TI.
