my first was an apple II. the most embarrassing thing (in retrospect) that happened to me during that early period was when a guy who ran my planning group gave me a presentation to back up his request to buy the first pc's so that he could draw up the yearly plan/budget with lotus 123. i told him to go ahead if he wanted to, but really couldn't understand why he thought spreadsheets would ever be of much use....
