3-Year Notes Yield 1.776%; 3.10 Bid To Cover (not great demand) 1703 GMT [Dow Jones] Govt's $40B three-yr note auction was a success at 1.776% yield, right on the 1.776% yield on the when-issued just before the sale. Auction was also more than three times oversubscribed with bid-to-cover ratio of 3.10, close to the 3.13 bid to cover at last 3-yr sale and above the last four auction average bid to cover of 2.98.
