Almost all the coal mining accidents happen in non union coal mines. Bush gutted the coal mine regulations. Your thinking is simplistic. You have not thought these things through. You just shoot from the hip like Glenn Beck and Palin, if you were in charge people would suffer needlessly because of your insensitivity. Without medicare what happens to the old crippled people without family? I took care of my crippled mom in her old age, but if I had not been born, or died, the end of her life without me, social security or medicare would have been pure hell. Your problem, is that you cannot conceptualize helping people you do not know. This is a common problem for many people since we have grown out of our tribal environments and into a large impersonal society. It requires a great deal of abstract thinking.
