Thanks for your very helpful response. Does anyone know whether Cymer licensed the patents for their laser, or have their own? My patent attorney friend says that "it" (he didn't say whether it was the laser or the Deep UV lithography) was intitially developed by Srinivasan at IBM. Does anyone know anything about this?
