I'm sure you're right.

That's why they are trying to raise the fee that banks pay into the F.D.I.C. deposit insurance fund so it can handle another big collapse like we just had without having to go to the taxpayers for a bailout.

(The F.D.I.C. fund has been under-capitalized for years....)
