Militias are nearly all rightwing, anti-government, pro-gun Republicans - like McVeigh and the Hutarees. Spurred on by hate radio and right wingnuts, they play army dress up and dream of sparking the overthrow of the government.

The left wing has is nuts, but they're mostly out hugging trees and freeing mistreated monkeys...
