Ryan,

Your guess is as good as mine. I would imagine that to be a function of how many "contract proposals" are to be signed and delivered, etc.
How much impact any additional "European Holidays" are expected to have this quarter... how good the International Sales force (Leica) will have at getting past budget approvals and learning curves...how much third party product manufacturer delays will impact the molecular-bio division...etc. Let's hope that the U.P.S. pilots don't strike and have the Teamsters join in sympathy.

The statement by CFO - Mr. Prange earlier was he was comfortable with a break even number by the end of the year. As far as I know this has not been rescinded.

Until we hear otherwise I would say that is what I am expecting.
Not to unrealistic if the unsigned contract proposals in negotiations last quarter are pushed into this quarter...and there are robust additional sales in all areas. Maybe lab orders are seasonally slower in the fourth quarter. I have no clue.

The analysts hopefully will be better informed of any "negatively impacting" situations by the company. I don't know if their numbers make any difference at this point. In the last two quarters, analyst estimates have been off quite a bit. I wonder if they are speaking to the correct company when they obtain these estimates?

What do you think? Let's see what George finds out in his visit at the convention. It would be nice to exceed the analysts earnings estimates by 100% for a change wouldn't it?

Frank
