Yes, you are correct about program controls. I think that is why he said to call him for the trade. If something happens with it, trading will call the broker and he can (hopefully) clear things up. I hope the company does not have to wait (or think they have to wait) 2-3 weeks until shares are transferred before they can issue press releases. I am fairly certain that they can do as they please now.
