Every military mag I read says we have had air superiority and continue to have it without the F-22. I sort of lump the 22 into the same category as the stealth bomber. That plane gets taken out of it's hanger (I hear it must be inside because rain damages it's skin!) a couple times a year and makes a flight from Missouri to the middle east to drop a couple of bombs.... A plane more expensive than most targets it would be sent against.... In either case, the F-22 appears to be a dead issue at this point... PS - The DOD is apparently now putting the brakes on the F-35 program as it's costs balloon out of control....
