"apparently there is a virus connecterd with Mailer-Daemon. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?"

Not a clue, Ted. Can you access your email via the web? If so, you might want to consider killing your email client and using webmail until you resolve this problem.

What I figured out is these Mailer-Daemon emails are coming from an IP in Romania. Apparently the IP there has been getting numerous complaints and has notices up to leave them alone. Is it possible that this is not a virus but someone using legitimate Mailer Daemon emails that I have gotten to access my computer? I say that because every scan I've done since yesterday shows my PC to be completely clean.
Here is the notice they have up:

Please don't send me any abuse complaints. |
Use abuse@rcs-rds.ro for that or contact |
your service provider or local authorities |
!! DO NOT CALL ME REGARDING ABUSE ISSUES !!
|

I just sent an email to the address in the notice.

I also am going to call my ISP and see if they can block these Mailer Daemons coming from that IP. Does that make sense?
