Tuna, welcome back. Now let's discuss a small point of Leo Logic--

Leo says Viagra will do severe damage to VVUS, because ED patients would rather drink it than slink it. To paraphrase, he posted once that only people who HAVE TO use Muse will use it.

The implication of Leo's argument was that Muse and Viagra will serve discrete segments of the ED market, with Viagra getting the Lion's share and VVUS relegated to a small niche (of what, Leo won't say, because he knows the "niche" consists of all chronic impotent men who can't be helped by Viagra.)

Then today, Leo posted something about price pressure on VVUS from Viagra, with VVUS being the high-priced "A" remedy and Viagra being the lower-priced alternative "B" remedy, that will bring down the price of A.

So, the only men who will use Muse are those who have no alternative, i.e. cannot use Viagra, but Viagra poses a price-competitive threat to Muse?

Leo, you're practicing Voodoo Economics. Can you reconcile these conflicting positions? Try to be factual.

And while you're at it, are you making any progress on answering Dr. B's question about whether Viagra does any good for chronically impotent men. or is your family member (wife) at Pfizer getting close-mouthed about this sensitive subject?
