you're right . the same thing happened to me. When I sold at market the bid was 26.5 and I got filled on a sale at 25.25 that just happened a few weeks ago on a volatile stock.Otherwise I have placed orders & gotten filled at lower than my bid & also sold at higher than my ask. I put that one sale down to coiuncidence. The broker will sometimes favour a special client but not Waterhouse they always treat me better than expected. Peter
