Not so....See this link and put your own state in the blank...Telephone calls? I've never been billed for one and almost all calls are made by physicians staff...ditto for e-mails

Is that source you have referring to "Original Medicare"...in this plan you must go to a doc who accepts "assignment", ie doc has signed an agreement with Medicare to accept the Medicare approved amount as full payment... Most doctors, etc accept assignment.. They agree to only charge you the Medicare deductable and wait for Medicare to pay its share...
