anializer - you have to admit the irony of talking about speculative investment on a value investing thread...! Needless to say, I can't disagree with spekulatius - if there are hairs in the reporting, how can you trust management to have been upfront in 2009? Graham / Buffett - protect yourself on the downside so you don't have to hope for the upside. Too much hope, speculation and future projections to label shipping investments as value investments.
