The Weimer decision is still good law. It was an en banc (all 9 judges) decision of the WA State Supreme Court in which the court held my client should have had summary judgment granted at the trial court level. It changed the law in WA State on the definition of an "injury". My practice is currently about 95% workers comp and about 5% SSD.
