>>Call over to the school down the street from wherever you live and ask why the teachers are getting $100k pensions at age 55 -- and when the laughter on the other end of the phone subsides, think of something to say that actually might make sense.<<

i wasn't clear... i didn't mean teachers, although i know someone whose wife pulls in $125k in pension, but she was a school administrator.

it is not at all uncommon for police officers to pull in near $100k nor retire around 55 years of age.

again, that's not good for society, but they are well down the priority list of booting out the jack boot bankers.

that's why i keep promoting swarmusa.com.

>>There are people who retire at 45 with half their pay or more -- they are called sir in the military. Now you tell me, should a military officer get a pension of that sort?<<

half pay? -lol-

CA state employees are laughing at such crumbs. they get 90% of their last pay and get to include overtime!

>>I don't know -- I did not want to serve in that capacity -- did you?<<

half pay for the military sounds reasonable to me when it comes to the military. if we could only get the bankers to be the bullet catchers so that wars would end - and then we'd all win.

>>How about a fireman -- do you offer to spend your life running into burning buildings? Or a policeman in one of the godforesaken cities of America where getting shot is more than a theoretical possibility on any given day on the job.<<

yes, people are lining up for those jobs in many cities. and they would line up without the concept of making more per year in retirement than they every made in base salary as an actual state worker!

>>Now lets cut to the chase -- the attack on public pensions is a total red herring -- a distraction at best. A propaganda campaign at its worst.<<

it is an issue, as i said, but it is well below booting the jack boot bankers out of power and ending their government reign - yes, they control government.

again, that's why i promote swarmusa.com and not endpensions.com or similar.

the major issue is ending debt based money and kicking out the jack boot bankers.
