True. But the joy of that situation is that the Duke guys were exonerated and Nifong didn't die by being tied at the stake to see if he could live through that, or being dunked underwater and kept there to see if he lived instead of being drowned. Nifong should have been disbarred. Was he? Don't remember. The Duke guys should have been paid well to help compensate them for all the agony they went through.
