Like all things, insider activity has to be put in context. Insider buying is encouraging because it is real money that an insider is putting on the line. Insider selling depends on whether the stock has just run up and the insiders seem to be cashing out ahead of the small investor; how much an insider is paid in options versus salary; and the number of shares involved compared to an insider's total holdings. Selling 10,000 shares when you hold 1,000,000 is nothing. Selling half your stake means more.

Go back in the thread and look at the ROMT debate. No one produced numbers saying insider buying amounted to more than a handful. That tells me something.

In the end, earnings and a good product count the most in my book. Blow out expectations and the world will beat a path to your doorstep even if you are going from a five-figure salary to a six-figure income thanks to options selling in the process. Disappoint because, well, sales were slow or the market hasn't matured or no one appreciates the real value of the company...hit the road, Jack. This market is too shaky for that.

My TSSW stop is set at an acceptable risk level. I'm willing to give it time to see if there is hidden value here or not. That's the microcap game.
