I suppose you're looking for a way to make money other than a normal job or financial investments. Though a little bizarre, I talked to a guy last year that was raising mice in addition to his regular job. He wouldn't give me too many details which meant to me he was either making some good money or no money. He said there was a good market for them and used the internet to find buyers. I also think he said they used dry ice to freeze and ship them. The advantage seems to be low investment, expand as needed, quick turnover, and low feed cost compared to cattle, dogs, or cats. Neither would it be as tricky as raising exotic fish and wouldn't need lots of land such as a plant nursery. By your name I would guess you live in Georgia. If you aren't in a big city and have access to a barn or outbuilding it might be something you would want to research.
