There aint much to do at sea anyway besides work. Fortunately for me I liked my job, and I liked travel. Even better I had the good fortune of learning skills that provided me a very good career on the outside. I never confused my bargain, I commit myself to my duty and hope for the best. But I never once considered making it a career.
