It would appear that the "charismatics" and "non-charismatics" are getting along better these days. Demanding certain "evidences" to ascertain whether one is "filled with the Spirit" isn't where it's at. Fruit, love, and attitude are the evidence of the "Spirit-filled" life. At times both the "charismatics" and "non-charismatics" are guilty of letting the "old man" take hold and the flesh blasts away. However, the hope lies in our confession of sin (I Jn. 1:9), since I John was written to Christians we can take John's counsel and confess our sins and immediately be restored to fellowship and the Spirit-filled and Spirit-led life is ours to to continue on. Glad to see you are a supporter of the David Wilkerson ministry. A man of courage, guts, obedience, and though flawed (as we all are), his work with the "druggies" is sensational. Re. "shooting our own" and Swaggart. The media loved it. If you remember, CNN's half hour news always had a blurb about it for weeks. Same with Bakker.

PS -Hope you support the Billy Graham Evanglistic Associate and Campus Crusdade. These two "Bills" (Bill Bright) are the kind of authentic examples we would all do well to model after.
