There was a lot of anti Semitism world wide up to WW2.
Europe was no different from the US in that league.

Just need to point out from time to time that the US was certainly no better than Europe.

I didn't think it was better. When growing up in MPLS, we learned early on MPLS that it was the anti Semitic capital of the US during the WWII. Why? Large German American population in that city......or at least there was back during WW II.
