You can clearly see my reason for rejecting Snopes' conclusion:

So Al Gore didn't say he "invented" the Internet, but he sure did claim to have "created" it. He didn't create jack. The ARPANET and NSFnet foundations were laid well before Al Gore wrote his bill.

But I predict you'll ignore everything I just said in the post, as usual.
