B...there is a thread entitled "Strictly Drilling and Oil Services" that has shown much more interest than GLM thread...check it out.

As far as GLM is concerned...their international exposure is limited, although CEO in latest conference call alluded to the idea that they would seek some work outside of the Gulf of Mexico, where most of their work lies. The North Sea was thge location mentioned.

What I like about GLM is its lower than average P/E ratio compared to the rest of the drillers and the fact that day rates are not coming down at all...if anything, according to the WSJ, Tuesday, Nov. 4 th issue, the industry looks extremely postive for a few years out.

Saddam acting like a madman could only help the domestic oil industry and the price of oil...much to the chagrin of the 4 wheel drivers.

Any suggestions in the tech sector...I am a networking nut...FORE,ASND,NN,QCOM,CHKPF,EMC,..you got the idea.
