Paul,
I've now seen my 21% profit erode to 7%. Not good.
If Intel's answer to the Sub $1000 PC is a castrated Pentium II (less L2) cache...I'm very dissapointed...unless they have a way of making up the speed loss somewhere else. I see they are thinking of putting the L2 cache in the die but that's a ways off.
Just how fast do you think a Pentium II-266 would be with no L2 cache and what could Intel do to compensate without spending money?
