Nope. It's because they go for broke. They don't have a country divided against itself like we do and they have a government that will break all the rules to stack the deck in favor of private enterprise. Unfortunately for us, we have a GOP that thinks the government should never help private enterprise, which is just stupid.

China sees that energy demand will require renewables and everything else, so their government is incubating the renewable energy industry. In this country, because of the GOP, we continue to give lots of incentives to oil and coal, while saying that to incubate renewable energy is communist. It's the height of stupidity.
