Maybe I don't understand what this discussion is all about, but I don't see any reason why we should expect any kind of health care program to pay for every conceivable test and for as often as any person would want to take those tests.

The way I think how medicare does this is to pay for all tests that your doctor orders based on symptoms or risk factors.

Basically it is up to the doctor to order the appropriate test(s). I think that is the only logical way the system could work.
