" It pays for a lipid panel every five years. Whoopie. In five years you could die from heart disease. Just because a procedure is on the list doesn't mean it's effectively covered. Note the frequency for abdominal aortic aneurysm ultrasound--once per lifetime. Tough break if you develop an aneurysm, which will kill you, after already having had your one-time ultrasound. Or colon cancer having been effectively screened only once every ten years."

You've gotten tedious... I get a lipid panel every six months, have had at least 3 ultrasound exams that included aortic aneurysm and all other organs, I get a colonoscopy every 2-3 years since my bro died of the disease, without family history folks get one every 5 years, I get an endoscopy every 3 years, and have had more EKG's than I can remember...I've had all 3 types of cardio tracer tests and also a catherization. I had at least 3 prostate exams and PSA tests every year.. I have never been refused any test my doctors have ordered.. You going to tell me I'm lying????

"Now, how do you know that's a complete set? And how would you go about identifying what's missing? You know, it's easy to react to what's there. But how do you find what isn't there? What would prompt you to look for, say CRP screening unless you didn't have a need for it or know of someone who did?"

Because experience and education tells me what a complete set is... The prompting may come from me and/or from my docs, in any case I have gotten no resistance. You continue to show that you know almost nothing about Medicare despite your barbs at the system....I've posted more links to you than you can handle but you have'nt learned from them.... You won't get anymore, but stop spreading untruths about the Medicare system because you oppose the government plan...
