GOOD TIMES ARE COMING-THIS WILL BLOW YOU AWAY
DEjaeger reports every day all the y2k news he can find anywhere. In December 1996 there were 12 stories .In May it had increased to 83. Since then it has changed as follows,JUNE 114,July 130, August 139, September 208, October 240, In November it is 10 per DAY.This exploding publicity has to translate into an increased sense of urgency among effected constituencies including hopefully sooner than later investors. ON a separate note I read ED Yardeni's testimony before Congress where he said their is a 40% probablility of a recession larger than the 1973-1974 recession. I also noted That there is now the real prospect of legislation relating to y2k disclosure. Once this hits there will be stories in every major paper
