It is amazing how the words of Jesus were warped in the short time between his ministry and the writing of the crazy old man on Patmos. Revelations is more or less a copy of earlier revealtions in the Book of Daniel. Love and peace doesn't have much to do with either book. Well, except for the stories in the first part of Daniel about the Jews in exile.
