I got Mosaic hot off the presses, in Mt. View, CA. I'd been on Usenet and bulletin boards for a decade already. There were only a couple of "websites"! They developed before my eyes, grew pictures, hotlinks. People were experimenting with HTML, stories told from all the different characters points of view.

You just knew this was going to have unimaginable effects. My CEO thought it was a waste of time.
