then why don't they own up to the fact that this health care bill looks an awful lot like Romney's Massachusetts plan A lot of them don't like Romney's plan either. Also a plan in a state is a lot different than a federal plan. States can try different things out and see what works from the different ideas in different states, rather than imposing a one size fits all federal plan. States also don't have the constitutional issues that some of the new federal plans elements create. Why are they unwilling to discuss a bill on its merits They have done so at least as much as the Dems have (admittedly a low hurdle to jump over).
