Obama is all about protocol. The obama protocol which is: Casual dress in WH meetings with high level US government officials, no flag pin on coat until he was actually sworn in, no salute or hand over heart when the flag is presented or the Star Spangled Banner is being sung/played including at Ft. Hood, a limp wristed salute in response to the Marines at his copter or airplane, tossed versus placing flowers in Arlington and the new presidential protocol of bowing to every Tom, Dick and Harry leader from other countries. He has been emphatic that procedure and process are of no interest to him. He has convinced me.
