Botox, my main issue with the JWs is that they put organization and ritual ahead of love and compassion.

for example, many children have died due to their belief system.

now, they may believe that death is better than a blood transfusion and that god would be mad and angry for showing compassion to a child in need, but i disagree.

one thing i learned is that organizations exist to serve people, not people to serve organizations. this is especially truth of a church proclaiming christ.

again, i don't judge individual people. i'm not saying some JWs can't have god's spirit.

this is true of catholics, too. i just don't know. i can't know. i don't need to know.

but i can't support either organization's teachings.

btw, i have a good friend who is being baptized by JWs this month.

ps - i'm still looking for the church that preaches giving to the poor is giving to god (the biblical example) instead of "giving to us (the church organization) is giving to god."
