Portugal Sells Maximum Intended EUR2B June 2012, 2020 Bonds

Portugal's Treasury and Government Debt Agency sold the maximum intended EUR2 billion of two- and 10-year government bonds at an auction Wednesday, it said.

The agency sought to sell EUR1.5 billion to EUR2 billion of the two series.

The two-year bond is a reopening of an issue launched in 2002. The 10-year bond was launched via syndication in February and this has been its first reopening.

The following are details of the auction, with amounts in euros. Figures in brackets are data from the previous auction, held April 8, 2009 for the shorter-dated bond.
