Nat gas may be bottoming. But UNG, the ETF has its own problems. Like USO , this can't back up the price with physical inventory. But GLD does that and so its very highly correlated to gold price. UNG primarily depend on future contracts and currently it is not helping that much.

Remember USO when IPOed the same price as crude. See where both of them today. So these ETFs are short term trading vehicle only. Don't stay too long
